We have incredible citizenship projects going on in our classrooms. There has been a lot of hard work and effort put into each project. However, we need volunteers to help us!
On December 19th (Tuesday) from 10:30 - 11am and 11:10 - 11:40am two groups of students will be visiting the senior home, Carroll Place Calgary, right by our school. If you are interested in volunteering please email us to let us know. We would love to have you for an hour. At the senior home, students will be reading, playing games or making cookie dough.
Another volunteer opportunity is to help bake our gingerbread cookies that we are donating to the Calgary Drop In Centre. Below is there twitter post! We would like 2 volunteers for each time. If you would like to stay for a whole morning great! (Coffee will be provided). If you would like to come in during the afternoon please let us know as soon as possible so we can change the volunteer times.

Lastly, classes are looking for donations towards the Heaven Can Wait Animal Rescue Foundation. If you would like to donate wet or dry cat or dog food, toys, blankets, and gently used animal beds please bring them in this week and next week.
